Our Matric Class of 2014 achieved excellent results. As a class they were an academically committed group who worked incredibly hard, and displayed 100% commitment to both Saturday and Vacation School sessions throughout the four years they were with us – they richly deserve these very pleasing results:

A total of 38 Grade 12 students were registered fully with PROTEC Pmb this year. Of great significance this year, is the fact that 6 Mathematics Distinctions were achieved, despite the fact that the Mathematics Pass Rate in KwaZulu-Natal declined by 12,9%. This was basically caused by to the re-inclusion of Geometry, Probability and other difficult mathematical concepts, into the matric mathematics syllabus.
We congratulate all of our students for attaining these excellent results and wish them everything of the very best for the future.
In addition we pay tribute to our PROTEC Pmb Tutors, who worked tirelessly to motivate these students and provide them with a superb learning experience.
Our Donors must also not be forgotten – they ensure the continued survival of PROTEC Pietermaritzburg Academy.
