PROTEC Pietermaritzburg is a leading supplementary maths and science academy for under-privileged school learners,based in Pietermaritzburg and servicing kwazulu natal KZN. A registered section21 NGO (non governmental organisation), Protec aides learners in many aspects, from internet access to bursary applications.

Admission requirements
Students must be studying core
Mathematics and Physical (Natural)
Science. A pass mark of 65% is needed in
both Maths & Science.

Entry tests must be written for
grades 9 & 10.

An interview with the executive director is required for grades 11 & 12.
